It is the seat of intuition and primordial consciousness. The womb is truly a gift from the Divine. 

 

The womb is energetically connected to the sacral chakra - the chakra of emotion, sexuality, passion, and relationships. There is a lot of energic memory that gets stored in the sacral chakra. Ancestral and past life karma gets passed down to us; sexual trauma leaves us feeling betrayed and vulnerable; romantic relationships leave imprints and sometimes physical/emotional damage; and child bearing or birthing complications can also traumatize the womb.
